In Lagos, Flood Sweeps Four Year Old Girl Away

A four year old girl identified simply as Azizat, has been swept away by flood at Agege area of Lagos State.
Purpleworld gathered that Azizat whose parents live at 38, Fashola Street, Papa Ashafa, in Orile Agege was swept away by the flood on Wednesday.
It was gathered that she missed her steps, fell into a drainage and was swept away.

The Public Relations Officer of the National Emergency Management Agency in the South-West, Mr Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.
He said, ” NEMA and LASEMA have put resources together in recovery operations as soon as distressed alert was received but the body of the girl has not been found.
“we are calling on the people in these areas with credible information on the recovery of the body to call the attention of emergency/security agency in their area if they notice body.”
