Host nation, Ivory Coast have knocked out the defending champions Senegal to reach the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations.
The round of 16 tie finished in a 1 – 1 draw but it was Ivory Coast who were victorious in the penalty shootout.
Ivory Coast will now face Cape Verde in the quarterfinals.
