The massive cooking pot used by celebrity chef Hilda Baci for her record-breaking jollof rice attempt gave way during weighing.

Eyewitnesses said the crowd let out loud gasps when the container suddenly broke under the sheer weight of the food.
Despite the shock and disruption, the rice itself remained intact, sparing the historic cookout from what could have been a major setback.
Chef Hilda Baci, who gained global attention with her earlier Guinness World Record cook-a-thon, embarked on this challenge to set another remarkable food record. This time with what is believed to be the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.
Organisers say the weighing process will continue with alternative arrangements, while the crowd hailed Baci for her resilience and celebrated the feat as another landmark for Nigerian cuisine.
