The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and the Nigeria Customs have clashed on Twitter over claims the operatives of the latter got access to restricted area.
In a statement issued on Monday, FAAN had accused a customs officer of forcefully gaining entrance into a restricted area.
Reacting via it’s verified handle, Customs said, “Saying that a gate is restricted to Customs in an international cargo airport shows lack of understanding of NCS roles.
Could it be that the gate is being made available for Smugglers?”
