DSS Allegedly Orders Oba of Akure to Refund Omoyele Sowore’s Town Hall Meeting Fee

The Department of State Service (DSS) has reportedly ordered the King of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade to refund popular human right activist and founder of the SaharaReporters, Omoyele Sowore’s fee he paid for an event centre in Akure, Ondo state Capital, where a town hall meeting was supposed to hold, Peak News reports.

The town hall meeting was aimed at discussing crucial matters affecting Ondo state, especially the issue of the sick Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu.

However, a recent development has shown that the Department of State Services has ordered that the fee paid to the King of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade to use a certain event centre in Akure, for the planned town-hall meeting should be refunded to Right Activist, Omoyele Sowore.
