Dowen College Student, Sylvester Oromoni, Laid to Rest

A 12-year-old pupil of Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos State, Sylvester Oromoni Jnr, who died after he was allegedly tortured by his senior colleagues in 2021, has been laid to rest.

Oromoni was laid to rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the family’s compound at Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta.

The late student’s burial comes over two years after his d£ath.

The minor di£d on November 30, 2021 after he was allegedly tort¥red by some senior students of the college who wanted to initi@te him into a c¥lt group.

However, Dowen College dismissed the claim, alleging that the boy sustained inj¥ries while playing football with his friends.
