Popular Nigerian Journalist, Babajide Kolade Otitoju, has revealed one of the methods used by Boko Haram in
recruiting members into the terrorist organisation. Babajide explained the method on TVC News while discussing the bombardment of ISWAP tax collectors in Kukawa by fighter jets.
The Nigerian army is not relenting efforts to end the criminal activities of groups terrorising various parts of the country. However, the activities of the various groups have been a topic of concern to many Nigerians.
Speaking concerning the activities of Boko Haram, Babajide said, “They want people to love them, and they are telling people that they pose no threat. Terrorists are showing up for
prayers and preaching to people in Niger State. They give out loans in places like Madagali Local Government Area (LGA) in Adamawa State. However, they will conscript you to fight for them if you fail to repeat the loan.”
