Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate Seyi Awolowo has apologized for his statement about women. In a conversation with Whitemoney and Soma, Seyi said that he would teach his male children to “run trains” on people’s daughters. The statement was widely condemned on social media, with many people calling for Seyi to be disqualified from the show.
In a diary session on Tuesday, Seyi apologized for his statement, saying that he was drunk, couldn’t remember saying such, and he broke down in tears.
He added that he was conscious of his dark side and shouldn’t have made such a statement given that he has a lovely wife at home while also expressing his anxiety for what would happen after the show.
Big Brother advised Seyi to apologize to the female housemates in the house. Seyi did so, saying that he was “deeply sorry” for his words.
Seyi’s apology seems to have been met with mixed reactions as some people believe he was in his right state of mind when he made the comments.
