It has been reported that bandits operating in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State are demanding cooked food as a ransom for kidnapped victims.
A youth leader in one of the villages of Birnin Gwari, Babangida Yaro said since the ban on weekly markets and telecoms shut down, bandits operating along Damari, Kutemashi and Kuyello villages only ask for cooked food each time they abduct people.
