Recent reports from The Cable indicate that the autopsy conducted on late singer Mohbad’s body has shed light on the potential cause of his death.
In a report obtained by TheCable Lifestyle on Thursday, the autopsy conducted at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) revealed that the gastric content, blood, bone marrow, liver, kidney, and lung samples of the late singer Mohbad were collected for a toxicology test.
The autopsy of late singer Mohbad yielded several anatomical and pathological findings, including an injury on his right forearm and moderate to severe decomposition of his body, according to reports obtained by TheCable Lifestyle.
The toxicology report revealed traces of Diphenhydramine, an anti-histamine medication, in Mohbad’s system, although it was not present in lethal concentrations.
Antihistamines are commonly prescribed for a wide range of conditions, including allergies, stomach problems, colds, and anxiety, among others. Despite the positive findings, the cause of d£ath could not be determined, leading the report to suggest that Mohbad may have suffered from an adverse reaction to d¥ugs or other substances.
“It is noteworthy that the body neither had an autopsy nor embalmed prior to interment on the second day,” the report states.
The process of exhumation, which took place on 21st September, 2023, eight days after Mohbad’s burial, revealed moderate to severe decomposition of the body’s organs, according to the autopsy report.
