ASUU Gives 4 Conditions For 2020 School Resumption

It is obvious that the academic staff Union of universities (ASUU) is working tirelessly towards the reopening of schools. ASUU through its president, Prof. Ogunyemi has assured of its status of resuming academic activities dependent on the conditions for resuming.
Prof. Ogunyemi recorded the issues brought up in the 2009 memorandum which also includes ASUU lists of conditions for 2020 school resumption. And some of the conditions were stated as follows:
1. Release of 1.3trillion for renewal of universities.
2. Payment of all earned academic recompenses.
3. Commencement of appearance to every single government university.
4. Provision of archived rules on systems and the Jobs of gatherings during the time spent renegotiating FGN/ASUU understanding of 2009.
The president Prof. Ogunyemi also stated clearly that government were setting up a colleges without them, also including that a portion of the foundations set up were not necessary. The union president also stated that the state government has turned the foundations of universities to the body electorate extends; each lead representative needs to have a college in his voting public.
He also went further to state that it is extremely pitiful and in the events that we are not cautious, college instructions will crumple like the open elementary schools in the nation. Along these lines what ASUU is fighting for, is to end the complete breakdown. Our request is egoistically spurred, he included. I can confidently say ASUU is ready to resume if only the conditions are met. I also write saying the FG should meet with the conditions stated by ASUU as soon as possible so Nigerian students can resume back fully to academic sections. It’s high time the government puts into consideration the future of Nigerian students.
