APC Too Weak To Address Insecurity, Revives Economy, Says Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate and a former governor of Anambra State, claims that the country’s increasing insecurity, including insurgency, banditry, and kidnapping, as well as the country’s economic collapse and accompanying poverty, have become insurmountable because the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, which is led by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), is a weak party.

He also claimed that the APC lacks the resources and skills necessary to guide Nigerians to the Promised Land.

This was said by the LP presidential candidate at a consultation with stakeholders in Borno state on Thursday at the Pinnacle Hotels in Maiduguri.

Senator Dr. Yusuf Datti, who is Mr. Obi’s running mate and the LP’s vice presidential candidate, claimed that he was in Borno state as part of ongoing community consultations to discuss a way forward as the party gets ready for its nationwide campaigns to ask Nigerians for their support in order to “Change the Change” in 2023.
