Lagos Discharges 42 More COVID-19 Patients

The Lagos State Government has discharged 42 persons after recovering from Coronavirus.

The 42 persons were released from three isolation centres in the state.

This takes the number of the total persons discharged in the state to 448, according to the state ministry of health. 

“42 moreĀ #COVID19LagosĀ patients; 20 females and 22 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Onikan, Eti-Osa (LandMark) and Lekki to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 2 from Onikan, 32 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) & 8 from Lekki Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to #COVID19.

ā€œWith this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 448,ā€ the state health ministry tweeted.

Lagos remains the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria with 1,491 cases recorded so far.
